Thank you again for making the 2022 season a success and for all the patience as our new crew worked through entering and creating the report. All the biological data we collected this past year will continue to ensure the successful management of the Lake Winnebago sturgeon population.
We are already looking forward to the 2023 season.

Additionally, the DNR was asked in 2013 to investigate the use of cameras in the spearing hole during the season. In response, three surveys were completed by spearers in 2013, 2018 and 2021. The results of the latest survey are now available. Read the full report here.
