The printed version of the 2026 Freshwater Fishing Digest will not be available at Fish & Wildlife offices or at license agents until the 2026 Fish Code is published and adopted in the NJ Register. We expect that to occur in late February or early March 2026.
The 2025 Freshwater Fishing regulations remain in effect until the new regulations have been adopted.
We will post a copy of the 2026 Freshwater Fishing Digest on our website as soon as it is complete so that you can view all the exciting changes for the upcoming trout season and the new year of freshwater fishing.
Thank you for your patience!
