With more than 38 years of innovation, American Tackle continues to push rod components further each year. “We showed over 8 new products at ICAST 2022 and continue with that tradition by new products coming out year-round”, says Kevin Landers, Marketing Manager at American Tackle. “The SRG is just another part of that continued innovation. We identified an issue for anglers with deteriorating grips which cause many of them to throw away the whole rod. The SRG solves that problem.”
The SRG or Shrink Ready Grip, gives rod builders and anglers the ability to customize, retrofit, repair, and regrip their own rods with 3 simple steps. With more and more anglers and rod designers wanting flexibility in there builds this is the perfect component to do this. The kit includes a pre-arbored nylon or CCT (Compressed Carbon Technology) split grip set pre-loaded with black RFT, three extra color options, aluminum winding checks and two composite cork and EVA end caps. The grips include tenons to fit end caps and standard size 16mm reel seats. “This is the last grip you will ever need,” said American Tackle Marketing Manager Kevin Landers.
