Atlanta to Host Fly Fishing Show This Weekend

ATLANTA, GA – Every fly-fishing tool from factory-fresh rods and reels to fly lines, boots, waders, clothing and accessories – along with the resorts and fishing destinations to enjoy them – will greet visitors to the Atlanta Fly Fishing Show® on Fri. and Sat. (Feb. 4-5) in the Gas South Convention Center, 6400 Sugarloaf Parkway, Duluth.

Hours: Fri. – 9 a.m. – 6 p.m., Sat. – 9 a.m. -5:30.

More than $30,000 in national door prizes including fishing trips, tackle, clothing, and accessories is up for grabs. The Grand Prize – chosen from all six 2022 Fly Fishing Shows – is a $9,000 trip to Blue Horizon Lodge, Belize; a $6,890 vacation to the Belize River Lodge, Belize; a $5,900 Atlantic salmon experience for two guests at the Restigouche River Lodge, New Brunswick, Canada; a $5,070 visit to Grand Slam Lodge in Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula offered by Yellow Dog Flyfishing Adventures; $5,200 Atlantic salmon experience with Fish Partner in Iceland, and a $4,000 Front Range Anglers trip to Christmas Island.

The Southeast premiere of the 2022 International Fly-fishing Film Festival is Fri. (2/4) at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 in advance or $15 at the door.

Admission is $15 for one day, $25 for two days. Children under age 5 are free as are Boy and Girl Scouts under age 16 in uniform. Children 6-12 are $5. Active military with an ID are $10.
