Bullet Weights Play in Thliveros Victory on Lake Seminole

ALDA, Neb.  – Bullet Weights® congratulates pro angler Nick Thliveros on his victory at the 2021 MLF (Major League Fishing) Toyota tournament held May 6-8 on Lake Seminole in Bainbridge, Georgia. The first-place finish marks Thliveros’ second MLF Toyota victory.

The St. Augustine, Florida, native used Bullet Weights 3/16 oz and 1/4 oz Tactical Tungsten weights throughout the tournament. Improving his scores day over day, Thliveros locked up his second Toyota Series title with the heaviest limit of Day 3 at 21 pounds, 13 ounces. Scoring 62-11 overall, he eclipsed some of the best anglers on Lake Seminole.

“Bullet Weights was my first true sponsor and working with them over the years has felt like working with family,” Thliveros said. “Their product is amazing, and their Tactical Tungsten was really key for me at Seminole. You feel so much more with the tungsten, and Bullet Weights has a wider variety of sizes for different conditions. The flat finish really makes a huge difference in the water too. It’s one less thing I have to worry about.”

The team at Bullet Weights was quick to offer their congratulations following Thliveros’ first-place finish.

“I can’t think of a more deserving winner for this year’s MLF Toyota tournament,” said Joe Crumrine, president of Bullet Weights. “Nick’s dedication and expertise have made him a great partner, and we’ll continue to root for him throughout the remainder of the MLF season.”

The Toyota Series is one of the most prestigious series of tournaments in the MLF, and the Lake Seminole event, hosted by Bainbridge CVB, is the third event and series finale in the Southern division.
