Cashion Rods Expands ELEMENT z2 Series with New Bass, Inshore, and Ultralight Models

Sanford, NC – Cashion Rods is proud to announce the expansion of its highly successful ELEMENT z2 Series with new models across the company’s freshwater, saltwater, and ultralight fishing categories.

Following the successful launch of the ELEMENT z2 lineup last year, Cashion has continued to listen closely to customer and dealer feedback. The result is a deeper, more complete product range designed to help even more anglers support American manufacturing by purchasing high-performance fishing rods built in Sanford, North Carolina.

The expanded ELEMENT z2 lineup now includes new models in the Bass range, Inshore Saltwater range, and the all-new ELEMENT z2 LT series, specifically designed for ultralight applications like panfish and trout fishing.

“The response to the original ELEMENT z2 launch was incredible, and we immediately started hearing from customers and dealers about the models they wanted to see next,” said Cashion Sales Manager Ben Choate. “I’m proud of our Product Development team for taking that feedback and turning it into new models that make sense for real anglers. We’re excited to bring these additions to the U.S. fishing tackle market and continue expanding what anglers can expect from an American-made rod at this price point.”

The new ELEMENT z2 Bass models include technique-specific rods for Chatterbait, Carolina Rig, and Swimbait applications, expanding the freshwater lineup for anglers who want purpose-built tools for some of the most productive presentations in bass fishing.

For saltwater anglers, the ELEMENT z2 Inshore range now includes new 7’6″ Medium Heavy and Medium Light models, along with four Texas Wade Fishing rods. Built shorter at 6’7″, the Texas Wade models are designed to help anglers work lures effectively while standing in the water, giving inshore fishermen a rod built specifically for the demands of wade fishing.

Cashion is also introducing the ELEMENT z2 LT series, a new ultralight category built for panfish, trout, and other light-line applications. The LT series includes three ultralight models in 6′, 6’6″, and 7′ lengths, giving finesse-focused anglers American-made performance in a light, responsive rod platform.

The ELEMENT z2 Series was created to deliver American-made performance at an accessible price point. Every blank and rod is built in Cashion’s own facility in Sanford, NC, allowing the company to maintain control over quality, development, and production from start to finish.

“At Cashion, our mission has always been to build truly American-made products for anglers who care about quality, performance, and where their gear comes from,” said Founder and CEO Matthew Cashion, Ph.D. “By expanding the ELEMENT z2 lineup, we’re making the Most Affordable American Made Rod available to more anglers across more fishing categories. Whether someone is tournament bass fishing, wade fishing the Texas coast, or chasing panfish and trout on ultralight gear, we want them to have an American-made option they can be proud to fish.”

The expanded ELEMENT z2 lineup continues Cashion’s commitment to building scientifically superior fishing rods with American craftsmanship, practical performance, and technique-specific design. Like the original ELEMENT z2 launch, these new models are built for anglers who want durable, high-performing rods made by the people and processes that define Cashion’s American-made approach.

The new ELEMENT z2 models are shipping to dealers now.
