On Friday’s installment of Bent, Meateater’s Fishing Podcast, cohost Joe Cermele announced that he would be leaving the super-popular weekly all-things fishing and more digital talk show after a great 2-year run. He followed it up by announcing a move to New Zealand, which he quickly retracted and turned to comedy likening the announcement and his final two episodes to a “New Orleans funeral – a celebration of life, not death.”
At this time there is no official word as to where the former Field & Stream fishing editor, it’s sure to be as exciting as it is entertaining.
The final episode of Bent with Joe will take place on April 15.
