The program is now in its fourth decade, with more than $7.5 million awarded in scholarships to deserving students, who go on to strengthen their Coast Guard families by pursuing a higher education through college or technical school.

“With college getting more expensive year after year, it’s always a matter of great priority for us to be able to provide support to the children and families of Coast Guard service members,” said Susan Ludwig, president of the Coast Guard Foundation. “We’re so proud to be able to support these impressive young people as they work toward a brighter future. In 2024, we look forward to rewarding more young scholars for their hard work.”
