Striped Bass Update: CT DEEP Commissioner Katie Dykes has signed the declaration which changes CT’s striped bass slot to be one fish per day that is 28 inches to 31 inches EFFECTIVE MAY 26, 2023.
As of May 26, 2023 any striped bass that is less than 28 inches or equal to or greater than 31 inches must be released. This declaration is in response to the emergency action taken by the Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission on May 2, 2023.
