Virginia anglers are catching some incredible trophy fish, and those catches can earn more than bragging rights.
In this edition of the DWR Fishing Report, we’re taking a closer look at Virginia’s Angler Recognition Program and how anglers can earn recognition for trophy catches, work toward Expert and Master Angler levels, and discover new species and places to fish.
From Trophy Fish Awards to Expert and Master Angler levels, patches, pins, and more, the program gives anglers new goals to work toward while encouraging them to discover new species and new places to fish.
We’ll also highlight DWR’s fish species pages and Explore the Wild 2.0 to help you research your next target and plan your next fishing adventure.
