In the first online episode of the Elite Redfish Series pre-game show long time professional angler, guide and now co-host Mike Frenette joins us on set to discuss the pregame strategies, pontifications and predictions on what could take place during Championship Sunday at the Silver Slipper Casino and Hotel.

This week when the tour landed in Bay St. Louis Mississippi one thing was obvious, this event would not for the faint of heart or weak kneed.
In order to get to the big reds and cash the big checks, the pros must choose whether to battle the big waters of Lake Borgne where weather can play a major part on their efforts to reach the redfish rich waters of Louisiana and get back or stay close and fish the waters in and around Bay St. Louis which tend to produce good numbers but smaller fish.
The decision was too much for some, one decided the challenge was too great and declined to sign up and one decided to throw in the towel and return home early on the morning of day 1’s launch. However, for the anglers that chose to battle all of the elements and compete they would receive the fishing gods’ best. Calm waters, sun filled skies and big redfish were their reward and for 1 pro a $16,000.00 payday, the title of Elite Redfish Series Champion and the feeling that they had accomplished more than just weighing in more fish than others. This was a challenge in every aspect of the word and they didn’t just finish, they finished on top!
