St. Augustine, FL — Fishbites marked a milestone on November 22nd as anglers, families, and fishing enthusiasts gathered for the 25th Anniversary Fishbites Event & Surf Fishing Tournament. The community turned out in full force, helping raise $9,248 in support of Matanzas Riverkeeper, a nonprofit dedicated to protecting and preserving the Matanzas River and its surrounding waterways.
Participants lined the shoreline for a day filled with competition, camaraderie, and coastal stewardship. With an impressive turnout of 139 anglers and strong community engagement, tournament organizers celebrated not only the fishing achievements but also the meaningful environmental impact made possible through attendee contributions.
