Fishing the Midwest, one of the longest running fishing TV shows in the country, announced today that a YouTube video version of their highly popular TV series was launched recently. Called Fishing the Midwest’s ROAD TRIPS, the series launched earlier this week with an episode originating from Big Stone Lake on the Minnesota/South Dakota border and featured top panfishing action for both crappies and giant bluegills.
“We generate top video fishing content during summers, but much of it isn’t seen until the following winter when our TV shows air,” said Fishing the Midwest TV host Mike Frisch. “With our ROAD TRIPS series, we are bringing content to our viewers and followers shortly after it happened,” Frisch added. “This benefits our viewers who like visiting many of the same places they see us fish at on television; they can now go to those top destinations right when they see it – when the bite is still hot” he concluded.
The Fishing the Midwest’s ROAD TRIPS series videos are/will be available for viewing on YouTube @FishingtheMIdwestTV. The first episode is live and can be seen via the following link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QD-6MOn9kfA.
Fishing the Midwest was founded in 1990 in Sheffield, Iowa by Fresh Water Fishing Hall of Fame angler Bob Jensen and continues to produce and distribute “how to” and destination specific fishing content available in a variety of forms and across varying platforms.
