LAKELAND, Fla.  — Leading industry experts headline the Seminar Series presented by U.S. LawShield at the Florida Open Season Sportsman’s Expo at the RP Funding Center in Lakeland, July 23-25.

The Seminar Series presented by U.S. LawShield will educate and inform outdoor enthusiasts, while a number of the features will offer enhanced entertainment value.  See the full lineup and schedule by CLICKING HERE.

Always a highlight for attendees of all ages will be Byron Ferguson performing his widely popular Trick Shot Archery Show. The native of Alabama has been known to shoot a Lifesaver candy with his traditional bow and also shares various entertaining and often humorous stories from hunting excursions over the years.

Chef Jean-Paul Bourgeois will be hosting Wild Game Cooking Demonstrations. The Louisiana native began his career in the kitchen began a long time ago boiling crawfish, crabs and shrimp at a local seafood shack in his hometown of Thibodaux, La. For the past 15 years, Chef Jean-Paul has served as a chef in a number of different restaurants in San Francisco, St. Thomas and New York City.

Jason Clark will be hosting his always entertaining and educational Snake Show. Known as The Southeastern Snake Encounter, he utilizes venomous and nonvenomous snakes of the Southeastern U.S. Clark is a nationally recognized reptile handler with over 30 years of wildlife experience and is a certified Master Naturalist through the University of Georgia.

Also part of the Seminar Series, will be Eddie Salter, the “Turkey Man,” who has been hunting since the age of eight and harvested his first gobbler at 10-years-old. Salter has a remarkable record in Turkey Calling competition, claiming seven Southeastern Open Turkey Calling Championships, six Alabama State Championships and two World Open Championships.

Tom Mesnard will be sharing his insight on Hunting Land Management. The TLM system, which he developed, has helped thousands of hunters in 27 states, dating back to 1984.

Trophies of Grace will have their world-class Whitetail Display at the Florida Expo, while offering fellowship and testimony. Trophies of Grace has made over 30 antler replicas of some of the largest free range whitetail deer ever known. The initial deer, and the mounts added later, are true trophies with an average score well over 200-inches.
