Pequest Trout Hatchery and Natural Resource Education Center is excited to announce a new program for school groups – an Interactive Virtual Hatchery Tour! Students will participate in a live-streamed hatchery tour and learn the process of raising rainbow trout, from egg collection to stocking. During the virtual tour, students will get to participate in interactive activities that will help them understand hatchery operations and the importance of New Jersey’s coldwater ecosystems.
Pequest also offers onsite programs throughout the year including tours, hikes and learn to fish classes.
