Introducing the Elite Recession Busting Redfish Team Tour for 2023

With an eye on current affairs, the reversal in the economy and what is sure to be higher prices on everything from fuel to hotels, food to fishing tackle the Elite Redfish Series has reshaped the Team Open Tour for 2023 and secured dates and states where the events will take place the earliest in our history. Come and practice for days if you can or if pressed for time and cash just pay online, attend a virtual captain’s meeting the week of the event and show up Saturday morning ready to compete in a 1-day shootout for big money and prizes.

The Overview

Mark Robinson from Victoria, Texas, and Bo Favre from Bay St. Louis, Mississippi are a top and tough team to beat on the Elite Redfish Series.


Two angler teams make up field of competitors * tour consist of three open tournaments and one no entry fee championship.

1-day events scheduled for the 3rd Saturday of April – June – August. Sundays will be used as make up day in case of severe weather on Saturday.

No membership * No administration fees * No in person captain’s meeting required.

Online captain’s meeting Monday the week of the event in private group * teams join in live or watch any day prior to Saturday morning’s team check in.

Teams check in at the stage 30 minutes prior to launch on Saturday morning * $465.00 per team regular season event entry fee.

Payout 100% + 1 in 6 including all checks, awards, and championship grand prize.

$500.00 optional big redfish side pot entry * biggest redfish bonus paid 100% to team with heaviest redfish.


Top 10 from each open make no entry fee championship * field of 30 fish day 1 – top 15 after day 1 fish day 2 – top 5 after 2 days fish day 3.

Weights zero after day 2 with only day 3’s weight determining place of finish * championship winner receives boat/motor/trailer package.

Championship winner advances to Bassmaster redfish cup no entry fee championship.


Equipment rules and regulations remain the same for 2023 as in 2022 * teams use similar boats, motors and equipment for official practice and competition.
