KastKing Unveils Dynamic Fishing Line Spooling Station/Rod Rack

Garden City, Long Island NY– Today KastKing (www.kastking.com) launched the new KastKing V10LS Line Spooling Station and Rod Storage Rack. The revolutionary design holds ten fishing rod and reel combos, whether spinning reels or baitcasting reels, or any combination, within 18 inches of wall space. The fishing line spooler adds fishing line to fishing reels without imparting any line twist. The V10LS patent-pending design uses adjustable line spooling tension bands so line is spooled tightly on the reel. KastKing V10LS  works with monofilament, fluorocarbon, and braided fishing line.

Made with non-rusting ABS materials the KastKing V10LS line spooler design is simple to use. To spool a casting reel, the line comes off the top of the filler spool and winds directly onto the top of a casting reel without changing the coiled memory of the line. For spinning reels, the line is un-coiled from the filler spool and coiled directly onto the reel spool in the same way. The line naturally coils onto the reel spool with zero fishing line twist.

“The V10LS is an incredibly unique product, there nothing else like it on the market,” say Scott Thomas, KastKing New Products Manager and creator of the system.  “Line twist on spinning reels has always been a problem for many anglers, but with our built-in line spooling system this is no more line twist. I think this product will be a home run with consumers once they understand they can store combos, fishing line, tools, and also spool fishing reels, all with this simple wall mounted rack.”

Line spooling is made easy by placing a Line Boss tension band on a spool of line, then mounting the spool to either the metal spool shaft for casting reels or to the spooling fixture for spinning reels. Instruction cues are molded into the tool for quick reference to ensure your setup is correct.

KastKing V10LS rod racks and line spoolers have a unique curved design and adjustable cups allowing staggered reel height for minimum storage space of fishing combos. The upper rod rack metal shaft offers spool storage and an integrated storage shelf to help manage fishing gear such as fishing pliers or line scissors. KastKing also includes two Line Boss tension bands to assist with spooling reels and to help manage the line on your leader and filler spools.

“The KastKing V10LS is a breakout product for us,” says KastKing CMO Tom Gahan. “We’ve been wanting to do a line spooler for a while, but we didn’t want to move forward until we had a perfect product, that unlike other brands, doesn’t put a twist in the line during spooling. Fishing line twist leads to knots, tangles, poor casting, breakoffs and other nightmares, which can occur with other line spoolers. KastKing V10LS put an end to all of those issues.  What’s more, you can easily store and access your setups without taking up a lot of space. KastKing V10LS is a huge win for anglers. Full credit goes to Scott Thomas for developing it.”

Media members attending ICAST can see the V10LS at the KastKing booth (1217) and also in the ICAST New Products Showcase area.”

KastKing V10LS has a MSRP of $49.99 and will initially be available at Amazon.com and kastking.com.
