Key Economic Data On Outdoor Recreation To Be Released November 17th

ORR to Host Webinar Discussing New Economic Data, Implications of Potential Shutdown

WHAT: Outdoor Recreation Roundtable (ORR) will host a webinar the afternoon of November 17th at 1:30 pm eastern on the 2022 economic data release from the Department of Commerce’s Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA). The report is likely to show that the outdoor recreation economy grew even more after 2021’s record-breaking $862 billion number, furthering its support of local, state, and the national economies and jobs. Speakers will include members of ORR and BEA staff.

Of note: ORR and its members will also preview the upcoming America’s Outdoor Recreation Act (AORA) mark-uphearing in the House Natural Resources Committee scheduled for November 30th.
