In addition to the previously announced public scoping meeting on March 13 and comment period, the Division of Marine Fisheries has developed a survey to collect angler input on Massachusetts’ recreational black sea bass management options for 2023. Completing this quick survey will ensure your perspective is considered in the decision-making process to select measures that will achieve the required 10% reduction for the 2023 fishing year.

The survey is open to responses through March 15. The Division of Marine Fisheries and Marine Fisheries Advisory Commission will meet on March 21 to select the final measures.
