NMMA has released the latest sales trend report for outboard engines, part of its 2024 U.S. Recreational Boating Statistical Abstract, providing an historical analysis into one of the industry’s most closely watched segments. While total outboard engine unit sales declined 7.6% year-over-year to 278,000 units in 2024, the market was supported by stable pricing, demand for higher HP engines and strong performance from top regions and states with a total retail value reaching $3.6 billion and average prices holding firm at $12,777.
