NSIA, Conservation Orgs Applaud US Reps For Support Of Biden Columbia Basin Memorandum

NSIA, along with our Columbia Basin coalition partners of fisheries and conservation organizations, sent letters last week to Oregon’s U. S. Representatives Earl Blumenaur (see below), Val Hoyle, and Andrea Salinas, thanking them for their support of President Biden’s “Memorandum on Restoring Healthy and Abundant Salmon, Steelhead, and Other Native Fish Populations in the Columbia River Basin” released in September of this year. Your leadership will be critical as the Northwest deepens efforts to recover salmon, invest in communities, and fulfill our obligations to the Tribes.”
