200 outdoor media will convene at the Outdoor Writers Association of America’s annual conference at Jay Peak Resort, Oct. 4-6, all while surrounded by Vermont’s stunning fall colors.
New and seasoned outdoor storytellers, be they writers, photographers, bloggers, videographers, podcasters or other media, will be able to access workshops, presentations and other professional development opportunities (including an editor’s panel). Brands, organizations and tourism boards will have ample opportunities to connect and network with the attending media.
Our members comprise a spectrum of outdoor beats, from backpacking to paddling, wildlife watching to mountain climbing, hunting to overlanding, biking to fishing, and many more. From these diverse backgrounds and disciplines, members gather beneath the OWAA banner to hone skills, develop and grow as professionals, learn the latest tactics and techniques, get inspired and network with peers, conservation policymakers and industry trendsetters.
You can expect the staples of OWAA’s conferences, including:
- Keynote addresses by inspiring speakers
- Panels with editors who are hiring
- Close looks at all of the latest gear
- NEW deep dive workshops on key elements of writing, photography, podcasting and more
- Hospitality suites, socializing and networking
You’ll also get plenty of time to do what we’ve been missing for the last year: Catch up with old friends, meet new ones, and re-ignite your business opportunities.
