Details are still coming in, but according to a post on the Fish Bound Charters Facebook page on January 11, 2023, it appears that there is a new women’s World Record blackfish/tautog as Connecticut angler Jennifer Zuppe landed a 23.4-pound fish onboard the Ocean City, Maryland-based charter boat. The current all-tackle World Record holder for blackfish, Ken Westerfeld, was also onboard for the trip, and this is the very same boat where he landed his 28-pound, 13-ounce record-setter back in 2015.
