After a whopping 2105 of the 2147 (98%) total public comments were in favor of “Option A: Status Quo – No Commercial Quota Transfers for Striped Bass”, the striped bass community awaits January 31’s ASMFC 2023 Winter Meeting to see if managers will have the sheer audacity to elect any option other than clear mandate for status quo.
