The NMMA has reached its final two states in the countdown with California ranked 2nd for recreational boating economic impact in the U.S. The rankings come from NMMA’s previously released data in their 2023 economic impact study, which measured the U.S. recreational boating industry’s total economic activity as well number of jobs supported.
Recreational boating in California has more than $17.3 billion in annual economic impact and supports over 48,500 jobs. A detailed infographic for California can be downloaded by NMMA members and industry stakeholders here.
