NMMA, National Marine Manufacturers Association, continues to highlight the top states for recreational boating-related economic impact based on the recently released data from a 2023 economic impact study, which measured the U.S. recreational boating industry’s total economic activity as well number of jobs supported.
Ranked 13th in the U.S. for recreational boating economic impact is South Carolina. Recreational boating in South Carolina has more than $6.5 billion in annual economic impact and supports over 27,100 jobs.
