To foster access to parks, trails and water for everyone, the DNR is raising funds to purchase 16 new track chairs.
These off-road, electronic chairs are already available in seven state parks. They can easily handle trails, snow, sand and even up to 8 inches of water, allowing users to explore areas of the parks where traditional wheelchairs might not. Chairs are available at no cost through advance reservations or on a first-come, first-served basis.
