Columbia, SC – Fly fishing brands Hardy and Greys will begin the year by touring the nation with The Fly Fishing Show and celebrating the Hardy brand’s 150th Anniversary, starting January 28th in Edison, NJ. Show goers can expect to see the newest products from Hardy and Greys and join in the 150th Anniversary festivities at their elaborate 40-foot booth located along the casting pond.
Attendees to this show will have the opportunity to meet Olympian, broadcaster and five-time Gold Cup tarpon champion Andy Mill in the booth and talk about tarpon and saltwater fishing. They will also have the opportunity to meet with two-time world fly fishing champion Howard Croston in the booth and learn more about Euro-nymphing techniques and tips.
“The shows are so important to our fly fishing community. We learn first-hand from anglers and hear their ideas on tackle, the fisheries and, the best part, the fishing stories. We will be there to share our celebration of Hardy’s 150th anniversary and have some long overdue fun with our friends.” says Jim Murphy, Director of Fly Fishing for Hardy and Greys.
Those who stop by the booth can talk first-hand to Hardy and Greys product managers and have the opportunity to cast a rod for a chance to win a rod at each show. Attendees are invited to a party in the booth every day of the show at 4:00 pm in honor of the 150th Anniversary.
