Volunteers Needed for Canaveral National Seashore Project
If you are 18 or older, our partners at the University of Central Florida Coastal & Estuarine Ecology Lab need you! Help is needed to stabilize and restore highly eroding shorelines in Canaveral National Seashore.
Dates for 2021:
  • Wednesday, May 12 from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m.: Prep. Day.
  • Thursday, May 13 from 8 a.m. – 1 p.m.: Stabilization of Seminole Rest Historic Site.
  • Friday, May 14 from 9 a.m. – noon: Stabilization near Visitor’s Center in Canaveral National Seashore.
  • Monday, May 17 from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m.: Prep. Day.
  • Tuesday, May 18 from 8 a.m. – noon: Stabilization near Parking Area 5.
  • Wednesday, May 19 from 8 a.m. – noon: Stabilization near Parking Area 5.
  • Thursday, May 20 from 8 a.m. – noon: Stabilization near Parking Area 5.
