Validating this notion is American Tackle’s win of EFTTEX 2022’s Anglers Choice Award – American Tackle’s 12th industry award – in an especially tough competition going up against more recognizable names in the fishing industry.
“We have been working increasingly to educate anglers on the rod components they use.” Says Kevin Landers, Marketing Manager for American Tackle. “We are well known in the trade for our quality, innovation, and delivery time. However, we saw that anglers wanted more info on the products they were using, so we decided to engage them with info and education, and anglers have been paying attention.”
EFTTEX attracts some of the most well-known names in the industry and is also a place to meet new and emerging companies within the trade. EFTTEX is the leading European Fishing Tackle Trade Exhibition and has been Europe’s go-to Trade Show for over 30 years. Some of the largest manufacturers attend this event to showcase new products designed with Europe in mind.
The SRG or Shrink Ready Grip was designed with the rod builder and angler in mind. The pre-arbored nylon or CCT (Compressed Carbon Technology) split grip comes pre-loaded with Black RFT, three extra color options, aluminum winding checks, and two composite cork and EVA End caps. Grips include tenons to fit end caps and standard-size 16mm reel seats. The SRG kit has everything you need for a customizable split grip without having to choose beforehand.
