ZEBCO School Of Fish Completes Another Successful Year!

The ZEBCO School of Fish, recognized by many as the leaders in kids fishing education, recently completed our 11th year of hosting fishing classes for kids, parents, and other adults.  The ZEBCO School of Fish taught 22 Schools in 2023 graduating 526 “water-ready” kids and 321 adults attended as well.  The adult number of attendees is an all-time high for the School.

“School of Fish continues to be very popular amongst kids and more and more adults attend every year” said Mike Frisch, one of the organization’s co-founders.  “Plus, we go back to many of the same communities each year.  We think it speaks well of our program and curriculum when communities have us back year after year.”

Started in Alexandria, MN in 2013, the ZEBCO School of Fish was very well received and has expanded to present classes in 6 states, has now taught over 275 Schools, and has graduated 6,222 kids and 2,266 adults have attended Schools in the program’s existence.

“We continue to graduate water-ready kids who have the knowledge, skills, and equipment needed to start their fishing careers,” stated Frisch.  “Most importantly, we try to provide the School of Fish experience in a fashion that excites them about our sport!”

Frisch also lauded the program’s sponsors in helping grow the ZEBCO School of Fish.  “Our supporters, many of which have been with us from day one, continue to see great value in exposing kids and their families to fishing and the great outdoors.  Their great support allows us to provide quality education and the fishing equipment needed to help students get their fishing careers off to great starts,” Frisch concluded.

In addition to ZEBCO’S title sponsorship, other School of Fish sponsors include G3 Boats, Yamaha, Hannay’s Marine, Soderholm Insurance, KLN Family Brands, ShoreMaster, Strike King, Lew’s, Women Anglers of Minnesota, Diamond Buick GMC, CLAM, Distinctive Cabinet Design, Artie’s Bait & Tackle, and Fishing the Midwest.
